The nearest town is Aguas Calientes which is located down in the valley beside the Vilcanota River. Aguas Calientes is only a couple of kilometres away from Machu Picchu.

Itinerary
Early in the morning, we will pick you up and we'll head to the train station, where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes. During the way, we will see the beautiful and spectacular landscapes. And 2 hours later we will be arriving to Aguas Calientes, in this small village we will take the tourist bus to the Arqueological complex of Machu Picchu, where we will have a 2 hours tour with a Professional Guide, who will explain us more about the historical legacy and the importance of this place in time of Incas Empire.Then, we will have free time to take photos and explore the place by our own. We will return to Aguas Calientes (by tourist bus), where we will have time to have lunch and visit the town.
At the afternoon, we will return to Cusco by train.
