Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain
We will begin our adventure to this incredible mountain range by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco between 06:30 and 07:00 a.m. to go on board our shared tourist mobility to the southern part of Cusco.
After a 2 hour trip through picturesque villages we will arrive at Checacupe where we will make a brief stop to appreciate a small Inca bridge and the colonial bridge built next to it.
We will continue our journey to the place called "parking" from where we can already see the mountains of colors of which we will have a better view ascending for about 45 minutes, which is a less demanding trek than that of Vinicunca.
From the viewpoint of Palcoyo we can appreciate the 3 mountains of 7 colors, which have colors that resemble the rainbow for their multi-colored layers. In addition we can appreciate a curious forest of stones which is composed of rocky peaks formed naturally by rain and wind.
After enjoying the scenic beauty of this place, we will return to the parking lot to enjoy a delicious lunch in the town of Cusipata and then finally return to the city of Cusco where we will be arriving at approximately 18:00 hrs.
